We offer you a recipe for marbled catfish with cherry tomatoes in bacon: easy to make and delicious. It is best cooked on the grill. Main ingredients for 7 servings:
- marbled catfish (clarie) – 1 pc;
- cherry tomatoes – 7 pcs;
- sliced bacon – 280 g;
- Italian herbs – 3 g;
- lemon juice – 70 ml.
Salt and pepper mixture to taste. Cooking time: 30-40 minutes. Rub the fish with salt to get rid of the mucus on the surface of the catfish. Then clean, gut and rinse in cold water, be sure to remove the gills from the head. Separate the fillet from the spine, cut the fish into 7-10 cm strips. Marinate the catfish in Italian herbs with lemon juice, add salt and pepper to taste. Place two strips of bacon crosswise, place a piece of fish in the center, and a sliced cherry tomato on it. Then wrap all the ingredients in a bacon envelope and fry on the grill. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Chef's recommendations: Do not throw away the head and spine, they should be used for soup. Serve the finished dish with tomato sauce, onion, chili pepper and fried lemon.
