For a speedy recovery from the flu or cold, experts recommend drinking as much warm vitamin tea as possible, balanced eating, including in the diet of marine fish.
To quickly recover from flu or colds, the body needs vitamins and minerals. Therefore, the basis of the menu, in the first place, should be seasonal vegetables, fruits, berries and greens. Do not forget about protein foods. In this case, fatty varieties of meat should be replaced with chicken or turkey meat.
"Different varieties of fish and seafood, as well as natural vegetable oils, are very useful during the recovery period. Sea fish, especially salmon, mackerel, herring, as well as vegetable oils, especially flaxseed, sunflower, pumpkin and olive, contain vitamin D, which blocks the multiplication of harmful bacteria and actively fights against viruses," - said immunologist Svetlana Belova.
According to the expert, in the cold season, the level of this vitamin is sharply reduced due to lack of sunlight, which negatively affects immunity.
